I think God said something today
Back to Full Blog

I came home today and was working outside. I started getting pritty sad and then started to talk to God. Though it was more of a prayer then anything. Anyway i was saying that i was so alone and that i wish i knew my perpose and that i had someone to share it with. I also said that i would wish that he would say something back for once to let me know he was listening. Anyway when i was done i started to work again and then the dogs barked. I turned to see a white tailed deer run past me. It was so beautyful. I mean it was like nothing i have ever seen before. Normaly white tailed deer don't have to white of tails. This deer had a white tail. It was as though it symbolized purity and innocence. Then at the sunset i looked at the lake and the trees behind it were a beautlyful red. it looked like a painting. Nothing has ever stood out that much let alone a deer pass by me no more then 12 feet away. It was so marvelous. It let me know that he was watching. I felt for the first time truly happy. For those brife moments i felt that he had everything under control. That i wasn't alone. I was reasured that he does have poewr.

Kakashi, this is wonderful...believe in what you saw. God is there and watching over you. I've had similiar experiences where I cried out to God and I had the same thing happen. If you don't mind I'll tell you about the times God reached out to me. He came at different times in my life. In the beginning I was young and stupid and did not listen as you did. The last time God came to me was during my divorce and it was at that time that I finally realized that I wasn't going to make it without Him. God pulled me through that awful time, a time when I just wanted to die I was in so much pain.

God will do the same for you if you are willing to let Him. Now let me say one thing...I didn't go to a big church to find God...I found Him in my heart. Don't stress the religion thing. If church does it for you. cool. But you can, as you discovered, find God's love in nature and the quiet moments.

You're on you way kid...take it one step at a time...go slow and do research into different Ministeries. Alot now offer stress reduction instructions and other life skills. Simply go out on the web and look them up. My favorites are Joyce Myers and In Touch. I'm actually going to add them to my sites I like list. There are also some great unofficial preachers here at Blogstream. I go to their blogs on a regular basis to find inspiration. Wherever you go Kakashi there are people willing to help and I'm certainly one of them. Let me know if I can help...Take care young one. It will be OK.

Josh?
I don't know what to say. I have done these things, seen these things. Why are you sad? I honestly don't know anymore. I am at a loss. I believe in what you say. I hope your happiness lasts.

It's wonderful that you can see those kinds of things in life. Some people close their mind to the possibility of God. Maybe your faith will inspire others.
